Lauren Child

This is my first read of Lauren Child’s Clarice Bean books. I decided to start with her latest instead of her first. The decision was good because this book didn’t depend on any of her others. I call it a “stand alone”. Ms. Child does a good job of figuring out what kids worry about. I like how Clarice numbers her worries.

I’ve read some of her Charlie and Lola books but haven’t seen the television show. I hope to soon.
